Though I actually arrived the day before, jet lag usually makes that day a write off, especially after being on the road, or I guess in the air, for about 12 hours.

The sun shines for an unseasonably warm day in Novi Sad, with plenty of sights to see and photography to do. Up on the Tverdjava in Petrovaradin, you get some great views of the city, both old and new, and wonderful natural views of the outlying areas of the region.

An area sought after by the Austria-Hungarian and Turkish empires alike, Novi Sad is a great place to enjoy some Austrian influenced Serbian culture.
